We are fully licensed and can host your evening private function at the cafe for up to 75 people. We can take care of the catering and drinks service, put on the music you want and provide a nice place for you to enjoy.
what we offer
We can do evening functions with sharing platters, pizzas and sides, and we are fully licensed for beer, wine and spirits. We also have a range of non alcoholic drinks. You can put on a bar tab if you'd like to or just let people buy their own drinks. Most groups put on a bar tab and pre-order a selection of food for the evening. If people are drinking we generally expect an appropriate amount of food is pre-ordered.
what we provide
We can generally tailor the layut of the cafe and the timing of food and drinks and music etc to suit how you'd like. The cafe is a good space for around 40-60 people. Closing time is up to 11pm. We provide front of house staff to serve and look after guests. All food and drink must be purchased from the cafe with the exception of a birthday cake. We can also provide a cake if you'd like. Cakes are $65.
charges
For private functions there is no venue hire charge as long as minimum spend is met. Minimum spend is $2000. If spend is $1500 or less then there is a fee of $500, which goes towards our staffing and costs. If spend is between $1500 and $2000 then we don't charge the $500 fee but there is a fee of whatever amount is left to bring the total up to $2000. Most functions would spend enough overall on food and drinks anyway so this isn't usually an issue.

All Platters served on a large dinner plate or round wooden board. All platters are designed for grazing for 4 people.
